3 Years, 100 Posts
Three years ago this week, I published my very first post. Now The Cookie Exchange Blog has a library of over 100 posts. What a ride it’s been! It has been exciting and challenging (many times both at the same time).
This week I’d like for us to turn back to that very first post: Making Cookies. It’s the post that started it all and even led to the naming of the blog. It covers a difficult time in my life when I wrestled with the fact that God doesn’t need me.
Since then, I’ve enjoyed making and sharing “cookies” together. I love interacting with you and have cherished many comments. This week, would you help me celebrate this 3rd birthday and 100+ post milestone by (1) sharing some of your favorite memories or thoughts about The Cookie Exchange Blog in a comment, (2) sharing a favorite post with a friend, or (3) subscribing to the blog (that really helps in gaining a publisher). I would love to use my gifts and knowledge to help more people “connect-the-dots” in studying and understanding the Bible. Thank you for joining me in this journey!

Making Cookies
What is God doing in your life? What do you and God have cookin’?
I’d love to hear about it!
Congratulations Heather! The Cookie Exchange is a wonderful ministry to many. I deeply appreciate the insight that you share in each new blog. I value how you are able to look at an issue, life problem, or difficulty in ways that I cannot. Your ability to “open my eyes and heart” to look at and consider things in a different Christ center “light” has helped me to grow in my faith! I remember reading your first with great pride. However, today, it was like reading it for first time!!! NEED and WANT…powerful differences…Praise God He WANTS ME!
Thank you! I’m so glad this hard work is valuable to others. I especially enjoyed thinking about and sharing this post about how NEED and WANT play out differently. It seems so trivial, but it makes a big difference, doesn’t it?! Yes, thank you Jesus for wanting us! It’s beautiful.
So proud of you for stepping out there and doing this! What a journey.
And thank you, Amy, for being a part of this journey! I have deeply appreciated your encouragement, support, and participation!
